Terms of Service

Effective upon publication

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of VidMate, including its website, mobile services, APK download features, app listings, user features, and related services. By accessing or using VidMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use VidMate.

1. Overview of the Service

VidMate is an APK download platform that allows users to discover, access, and download Android application package files and related app information.

VidMate may provide:

  • App listings, descriptions, screenshots, version information, and technical details
  • APK files and related downloadable files
  • User-generated content, such as reviews, ratings, comments, or submissions
  • Security notices, update information, and compatibility details
  • Platform tools for browsing, searching, and downloading apps

VidMate may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

2. Eligibility

You may use VidMate only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.

By using VidMate, you confirm that:

  • You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or you are using VidMate with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Your use of VidMate does not violate any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right.
  • You will comply with these Terms and all applicable platform rules.

If you use VidMate on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of VidMate and for any activity that occurs through your device, account, network, or submitted content.

You agree to:

  • Use VidMate only for lawful purposes.
  • Review app permissions, compatibility, developer information, and potential risks before installing any APK.
  • Maintain appropriate security practices on your device.
  • Keep your operating system, antivirus tools, and security settings up to date.
  • Ensure that downloading, installing, or using any APK complies with applicable laws and third-party terms.
  • Use caution when installing apps from outside official app stores.
  • Verify that any app you download is suitable for your device, region, and intended use.
  • Be responsible for any data usage, carrier fees, device performance issues, or consequences resulting from downloads or installations.

VidMate is not responsible for your decision to download, install, access, modify, or use any APK or third-party application.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse VidMate or interfere with its operation.

You must not:

  • Use VidMate for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.
  • Upload, distribute, request, promote, or facilitate malware, spyware, ransomware, viruses, trojans, worms, or other harmful code.
  • Attempt to bypass security features, access controls, rate limits, download restrictions, or technical protections.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or extract data from VidMate in an unauthorized or excessive manner.
  • Use bots, scripts, automation, or bulk downloading tools without authorization.
  • Interfere with servers, networks, infrastructure, or other users’ access to VidMate.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, files, databases, or administrative areas.
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, ownership, permissions, or the origin of any content.
  • Upload or distribute APKs that infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights.
  • Upload modified apps, cracked apps, patched apps, unlocked premium apps, license-bypassed apps, cheats, or circumvention tools without proper authorization.
  • Promote piracy, unauthorized copying, credential theft, payment fraud, phishing, spam, or illegal activities.
  • Use VidMate to harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, defame, or exploit any person.
  • Post false, misleading, deceptive, or manipulated information.
  • Submit content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

VidMate may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, block downloads, suspend access, restrict features, or take other appropriate action.

5. APK Downloads and Installation Risks

APK files may come from third-party developers, publishers, or other sources. Installing APK files can carry risks, including:

  • Malware or unwanted software
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Device instability or performance issues
  • Privacy risks
  • Permission misuse
  • Compatibility problems
  • Violation of third-party terms
  • Security vulnerabilities in outdated versions

VidMate may use automated or manual review processes, security scanning, metadata checks, reputation signals, or other measures. However, VidMate does not guarantee that any APK is safe, secure, error-free, authentic, complete, compatible, legal in your jurisdiction, or free from harmful components.

You download, install, and use APK files at your own risk.

6. User Content

VidMate may allow users to submit, post, upload, rate, review, comment on, or otherwise provide content. This may include text, images, app information, APK submissions, descriptions, version notes, reports, ratings, and other materials.

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the license granted in these Terms.

By submitting content to VidMate, you grant VidMate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, modify, adapt, translate, analyze, classify, promote, and otherwise use the content in connection with operating, improving, securing, and promoting VidMate.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own the content or have all rights necessary to submit it.
  • Your content does not infringe or violate any third-party rights.
  • Your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • Your content does not contain malware, harmful code, or hidden functionality.
  • Your content complies with these Terms and applicable law.

VidMate may remove, reject, edit, restrict, reclassify, or disable access to any user content at any time.

7. Content Guidelines

All user-submitted content must comply with these guidelines.

You must not submit content that:

  • Contains malware, spyware, viruses, exploit code, credential stealers, hidden miners, or harmful software.
  • Infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights.
  • Consists of cracked, pirated, stolen, leaked, bypassed, or unauthorized software.
  • Provides instructions for hacking, fraud, bypassing licenses, stealing credentials, or evading payment.
  • Is false, deceptive, misleading, impersonating, or intended to manipulate users.
  • Contains hate speech, targeted harassment, threats, abuse, or incitement to violence.
  • Contains sexually exploitative, abusive, or illegal material.
  • Exploits or endangers minors.
  • Promotes self-harm, terrorism, violent extremism, illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, or criminal activity.
  • Contains private or confidential information without authorization.
  • Includes spam, repetitive content, irrelevant promotions, fake reviews, or manipulated ratings.
  • Violates applicable law or encourages others to do so.

VidMate may use moderation systems, user reports, automated detection, manual review, and other methods to enforce these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

VidMate and its original platform design, branding, text, graphics, logos, software, features, databases, organization, and service elements are owned by VidMate or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of VidMate or any content provided through the service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, publicly display, publicly perform, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from VidMate or its protected materials except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

Third-party app names, trademarks, logos, icons, descriptions, screenshots, and related materials belong to their respective owners. Their presence on VidMate does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

9. Third-Party Apps and Services

VidMate may display or provide access to apps, APK files, content, software, services, or materials created by third parties.

VidMate does not control third-party apps and is not responsible for:

  • Their functionality, availability, legality, security, or performance
  • Their privacy practices or data collection
  • Their permissions or device access
  • Their updates, removals, or compatibility
  • Their terms, policies, offers, payments, subscriptions, or in-app purchases
  • Any damages, losses, or disputes arising from your use of them

Your use of any third-party app may be subject to separate terms and policies from the app developer, publisher, or owner.

10. App Information and Metadata

VidMate may provide app descriptions, categories, screenshots, technical specifications, version histories, changelogs, file sizes, permissions, compatibility notes, and other information.

Although VidMate may attempt to keep information accurate and current, VidMate does not guarantee that app information is complete, accurate, updated, reliable, or error-free.

You are responsible for reviewing app information before downloading or installing any APK.

11. Security Measures

VidMate may take security-related actions to protect users and the platform, including:

  • Scanning APK files
  • Restricting or blocking suspicious downloads
  • Removing harmful or unauthorized files
  • Reviewing user submissions
  • Flagging apps based on safety signals
  • Limiting automated access
  • Logging technical activity for abuse prevention
  • Suspending access for suspected violations

Security measures are not guaranteed to detect every risk. VidMate is not liable for any harm caused by files, apps, or content that bypass detection or review.

12. Account Use

Some VidMate features may require an account or user profile.

If you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Not share, sell, transfer, or misuse your account.
  • Notify VidMate through available platform mechanisms if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

VidMate may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or are used in connection with abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful activity.

13. Privacy

VidMate may collect, use, store, and process information in connection with operating and improving the service, securing the platform, preventing abuse, analyzing performance, and providing user features.

By using VidMate, you acknowledge that technical and usage-related information may be processed as part of the service. Your use of third-party apps downloaded through VidMate may be subject to separate privacy practices controlled by those app providers.

14. Updates and Changes to Apps

Apps available through VidMate may be updated, replaced, removed, or modified at any time.

VidMate does not guarantee that:

  • A specific APK version will remain available.
  • Updates will be compatible with your device.
  • Older versions will be safe or functional.
  • App developers will continue supporting any app.
  • Features shown in descriptions or screenshots will remain available.

Installing updates or older versions may affect app data, functionality, security, and compatibility.

15. Removal of Content

VidMate may remove, disable, restrict, or refuse access to any APK, listing, review, comment, account, or other content for any reason, including when content:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Appears unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, deceptive, or abusive
  • Creates risk to users, VidMate, developers, or third parties
  • Is outdated, inaccurate, duplicated, or no longer supported
  • Is subject to a rights, safety, legal, or policy concern

VidMate is not required to store, maintain, restore, or provide copies of removed content.

16. Prohibited Commercial Use

Unless expressly authorized by VidMate, you must not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit VidMate content or APK files obtained through VidMate.
  • Operate a competing repository using VidMate data, files, listings, or metadata.
  • Use VidMate for bulk downloading, mirroring, scraping, indexing, or automated collection.
  • Use VidMate branding, names, logos, or interface elements for commercial purposes.
  • Create derivative services based on VidMate’s platform or database.

17. Suspension and Termination

VidMate may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate your access to all or part of the service at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • Your activity creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk.
  • Your content is suspected to be harmful, infringing, illegal, or abusive.
  • Your account is used for fraud, spam, scraping, malware distribution, or unauthorized access.
  • Continued access could harm VidMate, users, developers, rights holders, or third parties.

You may stop using VidMate at any time.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions.

18. Disclaimers

VidMate is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidMate disclaims all warranties, representations, and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy
  • Availability
  • Security
  • Compatibility
  • Reliability
  • Performance
  • Error-free operation

VidMate does not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or free from errors.
  • APK files will be safe, lawful, authentic, complete, or compatible.
  • App listings or metadata will be accurate, current, or complete.
  • Security scans will detect all threats.
  • Defects or vulnerabilities will be corrected.
  • Any content will remain available.
  • Any downloaded app will meet your expectations or requirements.

You are solely responsible for any damage to your device, loss of data, privacy impact, legal consequences, or other harm resulting from your use of VidMate or any APK downloaded through the service.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidMate, its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including damages for:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Device damage
  • Business interruption
  • Security breaches
  • Malware infection
  • Unauthorized access
  • Loss of privacy
  • App malfunction
  • Inability to use the service
  • Download or installation issues
  • Third-party conduct or content

This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or any other legal theory, even if VidMate has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidMate’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid directly to VidMate for use of the service during the three months before the claim arose, or
  • One hundred United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such cases, VidMate’s liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VidMate, its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of VidMate
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law
  • Your submitted content
  • Your upload, distribution, installation, or use of any APK
  • Your infringement or alleged infringement of third-party rights
  • Your interaction with third-party apps, developers, publishers, or users
  • Your negligence, fraud, misconduct, or unauthorized activity

VidMate may assume control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with that defense.

21. No Professional Advice

Information provided through VidMate, including security notes, app descriptions, ratings, reviews, and compatibility details, is for general informational purposes only.

VidMate does not provide legal, technical, cybersecurity, financial, medical, or professional advice. You should independently evaluate apps and risks before downloading or installing any APK.

22. Service Availability

VidMate may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, restricted, or discontinued due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Updates
  • Technical failures
  • Security incidents
  • Network issues
  • Legal or policy requirements
  • Third-party service disruptions
  • Force majeure events
  • Operational decisions

VidMate is not liable for any unavailability, delay, suspension, or discontinuation of the service or any content.

23. Changes to These Terms

VidMate may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted through the service unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of VidMate after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using VidMate.

24. Interpretation

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

VidMate’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and VidMate regarding your use of the service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to the same subject matter.
